| XM radio problem on Genesis Coupe My Genesis Coupe has been fantastic so far, with the exception of a problem with the XM radio. When the outside temperature gets above 70 degrees and the sun has been beating down on the car, the XM radio kicks out and a "Check Antenna" message appears on the radio display. Hyundai is particularly concerned about any problems with the Genesis line, so my dealer has been getting a lot of help from Hyundai USA tech support. At Hyundai USA's direction my radio was swapped with the radio from another Genesis Coupe on the lot in an effort to see if the problem was in the radio itself (it wasn't). Other diagnostics were performed as well. It was finally determined that the problem is with the sharkfin XM antenna itself, and a new antenna is on order.

As far as the radio goes, it's just a minor inconvenience. It's been cloudy and relatively cool here for the past two days, so the XM is working fine for now. I do hope the antenna comes in soon, though: but with the Genesis Coupe being so new, it wouldn't surprise me if the antenna had to come from Korea.

The XM antenna the dealer ordered hasn't come in yet, and when it does, I want to see if the software upgrade solves the problem before they tear apart the interior to put in the new antenna.

| Well, today was fairly hot and sunny, and the "Check Antenna" error message came on again despite the recent software flash. Fortunately, I got a call from the dealer today and my replacement antenna has arrived: I'll probably take the car in next Monday or Tuesday to have it installed. Hopefully that will be the end of the problem.

| The new antenna solved the problem. My dealer did a fantastic job of disassembling and reassembling the interior - you can't even tell they worked on it. Hopefully this is the last problem I have with the car.
