| Lucky... I couldn't test drive one when I went by They have had so many people wanting to drive it that they were limiting test drives to people who were seriously considering buying one... which I can understand. Hopefully they will have some to drive soon though.

| fortunately for most dealers, the people in the market for buying cars are less informed than the people on here. and not to pigeon-hole people but a genesis sedan purchaser will more than likely be less informed then the coupe purchaser. Agreed? |

| agreed, but thats why I think a mark-up on the car is going to hurt those dealers even more. Average Joe isn't going to pay an extra $3-5000, for a car they don't know much about, let alone a car being advertised for its price advantage! |

| Well, the original dealership I went to emailed me back after a week to let me know since I was a "VIP" customer I didn't have to pay the mark up. What a bunch of crap, I've never bought a vehicle from this dealership and have only been in their parking lot.
This just proves my statement, "There is NO reason to pay mark-ups on ANY car".
Also what tech says is correct. Especially the people they want to sell this car too, MB, Lexus, Caddy owners etc. They know nothing about Hyundai, and their quality improvements, they are just going to laugh at the mark ups and leave, just like I did.

| Hey Gofisch long time no see man. I'm selling the Tib now. I have to get rid of it by October because I am moving to Italy. We're getting more and more Tibs around here, but not many are modded. I've sold most of the mods I had.
I noticed our dealership has a genesis sedan...according to their website it is just the basic model and the internet price is 40K. Not sure what they are selling it for though as the rebate price and invoice price says to please call. New Car Inventory - Hyundai Sonata, Tiburon, Santa Fe - Goldsboro Hyundai - Goldsboro, North Carolina

| Local dealership here has 3... two for $36k and one at $40k New Car Inventory - Hyundai Sonata, Tiburon, Santa Fe - Franklin Hyundai
Another dealer has 2, one @ 33k the other at 36k.
I'm seeing red and black only. The black is listed as either "Jet Black - Platinum Metallic" or "Jet Black - Black Noir Pearl"
Wow... being already at $40,000 I dread seeing the V8 price
