| Which engine is your favor to tune? If... Of our partners working closely with new Genesis Coupe in Korea, we have presumption of power gain for both engine after upgrade.
2.0 turbo upgrade to 400hp
3.8 adding supercharger (rotorex) bring 500hp |

| I still say turbo 4. I am sure you can get more than 400hp out of it, and it will always weigh less, more importantly have better weight distrubution, and lastly will get better MPGs when your not hard on it

| I'm getting the turbo 4 for 2 reasons above the obvious weight savings & tunability. One, my brother is getting the 6cyl w/ZF a/t tranny. Two, I've never owned a turbo charged car & think that it will be a neat change. Of course I will need the 6sp. |

| In Korea..especially Hyundai, we never had any high displacement sports car before, so 3.8 is something new.
There is no doubt 2.0 turbo will outsell 3.8 in Korea base on their price gap, but there may be higher age group buying 3.8 instead of 2.0 turbo.
Whereas, here in USA knowing from previous predecessor, the price gap is very slim. |

| I voted for the 3.8.... but I think a 400hp 2.0 Hyundai would be better, and draw more recognition. If we can get a good chunk of 400hp daily drivers in the U.S., I'm sure we could easily push it to the 500+ mark for a few track stars

| I know the 4 is going to be the better plateform, but I prefer the 6

| | New Member | i would go for the 2.0 turbo if you can make it punch out 400hp, having a v6 would be a change in deed, but i'm guessing over time with gas would be a little probably. plus you can get the turbo for cheaper as well all know which leaves money for parts, hopefully not too expensive parts lol |

| Turbo 2.0 is in progress
Was on dyno in Korea for upgrade preparation, but I can't get an access to BKMANIA.COM where they had initial dyno run showing 150whp from bone stock at our dealer RD Tech at DaeJon Province.
I guess my resident card expired in Korea and need an update
Since our company is helping the moderator of BKMANIA, I've request the id/psd to login soon and have their website exchange with ours as well. |
