| Re: GPS I agree with the in-dash system being nice... but think about it, IT'S SATELLITE... they CAN update it if they want to without touching your car. If they can provide traffic info, they can provide updated maps and features.
What needs to be done, is Garmin, TomTom, Magellan, and all the others, need to make automatic updates available every so often, since the technology is progressing so fast.

And auto-updates would be frantastic, i just got mine in december and i'm already running into a few roads that have changed since the map was updated.

| Re: GPS Im not keen on in car GPS. Im the paranoid type, i get in my car to get away. If i want gps, Ill buy it, If i want sat tracking ill install it, and if i want low jack ill pay for it.
Insurance companies will love this. Now i know there are 2 sides to the story and that theres alot of good about having all that but im from the side of my car 'knowing' to much. |

| Actually I here that the sync system is being introduced to Hyundai. I know they said that they wanted to stay with just Ford for now while their developing and debugging their system. I know they plan to bring the sync system to hyundai, supposidly in 2012, however, they have already added Lincolns to the picture. So I dont think we're gonna have to wait as far as 2012 for a synced out genesis. |
