A bit heavy but this car should have great potential ;D

Indeed. And I'm sure there's something you can tear out of it to lighten it!

Since it will have such a big fan base, I'm betting lexan windows and things of that nature will even be available down the road!

That's discouraging.

Not as close to 10:1 Lb:HP ratio as I would have hoped.

Sadface... especially if those power stats are from the flywheel, as opposed to at the rear wheels. Anyone know about that, yet?

I guess the bottom line for me remains unchanged: if it comes in at 26k, and I drive it and like it, I'll still get it.

First off, dyno figures are very easy to manipulate (factors such as brand of dyno, correction factor, let alone the conditions in which the tests were done. No matter which figure you use, it does not mean you car makes that much (very easily could make couple more or couple less HP). Its just one way to market a car.

As for weight, don't forget this car has 6 airbags standard as well as a heck of a lot of other features that add weight. 3500lbs is aprox what a Hyundai Tucson weighs with 2.7L and AWD, so I am a little disapointed, but just mean more engine mods to get that all important power to weight ratio down to a more respectable number (tucson is aprox 19:1, Genisis works out to about 11:1 with V6 and 16:1 for the Turbo 4. Would have been nice to see the I4 closer to 13 and the V6 at 10, but ah well, I still want one!
