Default Genesis Coupe In Europe

Hi guys. I'm from Athens/Greece. I was windering of that car is coming in Europe for selling. I need a new car and I'm lloking for Subaru Impreza Sti 2008 or the new Gnesis COupe.

I own a 2.0L Tiburon 2004 now.

Any thoughts?

The Genesis Coupe will be a major upgrade from the 2004 Tiburon. I'd go for the Genesis over the STI... the STI has become more about the name than the performance. The new WRX is just as good as the STI

I'm sure hey will export it to Europe as well. And I agree, the Genesis is likely to be much better for the dollar, unless you are buying for the name. I'm not impressed with the new Sti at all. Plus, form what I've heard, the trannys on them aren't exactly top notch. But we can only speculate till we can drive the Genesis.

There was an article posted somewhere that indicated that there were NO plans... I don't remember where I saw it though, and it is just an assumption based on the way the writer wrote the line.

I can't remember specifics. I read they weren't introducing the sedan because of the hold Lexus has on the market. I don't know if that included the coupe or not.

I don't know if the Coupe is coming to the continent, but I do know that a limited run will be available in the UK, up to 500 I think.

Also, I don't think the STi to GenCoupe is an apples to apples comparison. However, I'd wait to see if the Coupe came to Greece before choosing to buy one over the other.
