Default DIY Standards

To post a DIY, please have all information available...

1. Where to get the product and price.
2. Tools needed and sizes of tools.
3. Sizes of wires, # of connectors, ect...
4. Favorite Beer used during installation.
5. Help needed or what needs to be done professionally for safety sake.
6. Most important, PICTURES!!!
7. Do not post just links to a DIY. Please post the actual DIY here, atleast we will have the directions if the page ever goes down.

DIY's from other sites probably will not get added to this list as links and pictures change and get deleted. If you need to copy and paste a whole page or 2, do it, just give proper credit to the proper folks.

These rules have made for a nice DYI section over at RDTiburon, so in anticipation I've posted them here.

Good idea. When I first came to the Hyundai Community, I found a ton of folks on HA with a TON of info, but no real instructions. I swore that I'd do the time, and the trouble, of doing it as I saw would be right. I took WAY too many pictures for every modification, even the simplest of tasks, and took notes on what sizes of tools were needed.

I then spent an hour and a half writing up my first DIY, getting it all formatted neatly, posted nicely, and felt good about it. When I was invited to work on RD with Javageek, I wanted to make a section that would show folks how easy it is to do modifications to their car, step by step.

Hope it helps out here, as I will be posting some here when I get my BK.

All DIY's will be handled by a vB wiki, editable by any member with images hosted by us, for the best, updated DIYs possible.
